This is an excellent opportunity for a Bid Writer / Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tenders and bringing together information from commercial, design and operational teams to produce high-quality, winning bids.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end bid process, from tender release through to final submission.
* Review and analyse tender documents, identifying key requirements, risks and opportunities.
* Develop and manage detailed bid programmes and submission timelines.
* Coordinate input from Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Pre-Construction, Design and Operations teams.
* Prepare and manage PQQs, ITTs, SQs and tender submissions.
* Produce high-quality technical submissions, methodologies, project plans and supporting documentation.
* Ensure all submissions are accurate, professionally presented and completed within strict deadlines.
* Lead bid meetings and manage actions across internal teams.
* Liaise with clients, consultants and supply chain partners where required.
* Maintain bid trackers and ensure all deliverables are completed on time.
* Identify opportunities to improve bid quality and develop best practice across the business.
* Support the wider pre-construction team with business development and tender-related activity.
About You
* Previous experience working within Bid within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects.
* Proven experience managing multiple tenders simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with the confidence to manage demanding deadlines.
* Experience producing high-quality PQQ, SQ and ITT submissions.
* Commercially aware with the ability to understand project requirements and develop compelling bid responses.
* Confident working with senior stakeholders and coordinating multiple internal departments.
* Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of written presentation.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
Salary description
£60000.00 - £65000.00 per year
