How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Would you like a job selling the most important item most people will ever buy – their home??! Selling new homes is a rewarding career full of opportunity. At ACR we are working with one of the premium developers in Norfolk to help secure the services of highly talented, well presented, articulate and professional individuals keen to forge a career in the sale of new homes. While experience in the sector would be beneficial, our client is open to considering people who are confident and comfortable in a business to consumer, public facing sales role.

    This is not a role that involves a short, sharp interaction with the buyer. This role suits rapport builders who understand that the consumer is committing to a life-changing purchase. Your role will be to support them through this journey. Get to know them and understand their requirements - what are the key aspects of a property that will ensure the purchase meets with their expectations. It is an incredibly varied job role from taking responsibility for ensuring that outstanding presentation is maintained in show homes, to explaining choices on interior design (for example kitchens) and supporting prospective buyers to understand affordability and the options available to them, while simultaneously knowing and explaining the local area and amenities such as schools and shops.

    Successful Sales Executives and Sales Advisors can expect a competitive basic salary, with commission taking OTE to a very achievable £60k + benefits. Career progression for outstanding performance in this demanding sector can lead to Field Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager and eventually Sales Director opportunities. You will need to be prepared to work weekends – it’s a sales job and success is recognised with commission, so if you want to succeed you have to be prepared to work the days when most people want to view new homes. You do receive two days off during the week – so if this suits your lifestyle this could be the job for you!

    About the Job:

    * Managing enquiries and following up prospective purchasers

    * Building strong relationships with customers throughout their buying journey

    * Conducting viewings and presenting available homes and developments

    * Progressing reservations through to exchange and completion

    * Ensuring show homes and sales areas are presented to an exceptional standard

    * Liaising with solicitors, mortgage advisers, estate agents and other external parties

    * Maintaining accurate sales records and completing on-site administration

    * Working closely with construction and customer care teams

    * Ensuring company procedures and health & safety standards are maintained

    About You:

    We are looking for someone who is personable, motivated and passionate about delivering excellent results.

    Ideally, you will have:

    * Previous experience selling homes, preferably within new-build residential, or be an outstanding sales person in another sector.

    * A proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets

    * Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills

    * Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

    * Knowledge of the new homes buying process and relevant legal terminology

    * An understanding of mortgages, lenders and the financial aspects of purchasing a property

    * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

    * A full UK driving licence

    The Package

    The company offers an attractive salary and benefits package, including:

    * Highly competitive commission structure

    * Enhanced pension scheme

    * Life assurance

    * 26 days' annual leave plus bank holidays

    * Holiday purchase scheme

    * Employee Assistance Programme

    * Excellent opportunities for career development
