Are you someone who genuinely cares about people and wants to make a real difference? This Support Worker role gives you the chance to support adults who have experienced homelessness, helping them build confidence, develop life skills and move towards independent living.
You'll work closely with residents, building positive relationships and supporting them with housing, wellbeing, training, daily living skills and accessing specialist services. No two days are the same - you'll be part of a team that empowers people to take meaningful steps forward.
What the role involves:
One‑to‑one support and guidance
Creating personalised support plans
Helping people access housing, benefits and specialist services
Encouraging training, volunteering and healthy routines
Supporting residents with budgeting, bills, appointments and daily living
Keeping accurate records and working with partner agencies
Helping maintain safe, welcoming accommodation
What we're looking for:
Experience supporting vulnerable adults (paid or voluntary)
Calm, patient and confident in challenging situations
Good communication and relationship‑building skills
Organised, reliable and able to work independently
Comfortable using Microsoft Office
Full UK driving licence
Shifts:
37.5 hours per week between 8am-9pm, including weekends and bank holidays. Rotating patterns such as 08:00-18:00, 09:00-19:00, 11:00-19:00.
