How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Senior Manager –  Databricks AI & Data Client Solutions Lead

    Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

    Level: Senior Manager

    Practice: AI & Data

We are looking for an outstanding Senior Manager – Databricks AI & Data Client Solution Lead to help scale our Databricks-led AI and Data business.

This role is for someone who can be deployed directly with clients to identify business challenges, shape Databricks-based solutions and lead teams to deliver production-grade data, analytics, AI and GenAI capabilities.

This is a leadership role at the intersection of consulting, technology, innovation, and strategic alliances and you will bring deep expertise in the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Mosaic AI, data engineering, machine learning, GenAI and cloud-native delivery.

As a key leader within our AI & Data Practice, you will work closely with Databricks, client executives, and sector teams to develop market-leading propositions, shape strategic opportunities, build high-performing teams, and deliver transformative data and AI programs powered by Databricks.

    The opportunity

Clients increasingly need to modernise fragmented data estates, industrialise AI, build trusted data products and operationalise GenAI at scale.

As a Senior Manager, you will help clients use Databricks to:

    •            Build modern lakehouse architectures ready for AI

    •            Industrialise data engineering and ML pipelines.

    •            Build governed data products.

    •            Deliver AI solutions that improve decision-making across business workflows.

This is a role for someone who can work from boardroom to engineering squad — shaping the business case, designing the solution and leading delivery

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Advisory & Solution Shaping

    •            Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders to identify business problems and value pools, translate business needs into Databricks-led solution designs, build prototypes and proof points.

    •            Shape end-to-end solutions using Databricks Intelligence Platform, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, Delta Live Tables / Lakeflow-style pipelines, MLflow, Feature Store, Model Serving and Mosaic AI capabilities.

    Team Leadership & Delivery

    •            Build, lead, upskill and mentor a high-performing team of Databricks engineers, and consultants.

    •            Land into a client environment, decode the business pain, build a prototype or solution narrative, align stakeholders, create a commercial case, and then mobilise delivery with a team of Databricks trained experts

    •            Ensure successful delivery of complex Databricks led transformations, including: Data Platform Modernisation, Data Products, AI solutions, Data Governance and Operating Models

    •            Provide oversight for solution governance, architecture reviews, and key design decisions.

    Alliance Leadership

    •            Work closely with Databricks alliance leadership to identify and execute joint go-to-market opportunities.

    •            Collaborate on co-selling opportunities, innovation workshops, industry campaigns, and executive events.

    •            Act as an ambassador for the firm's AI & Data capabilities across the Databricks ecosystem.

    Sales & Growth

    •            Work closely with account leaders, sector leaders, and other practice leaders to develop a strong Databricks opportunity pipeline.

    •            Develop differentiated propositions that combine deep industry expertise with Databricks technology capabilities and contribute directly to revenue growth and sales targets across AI & Data services.

    What Success Looks Like

    The successful candidate will:

    •            Become a recognised Databricks AI and Data leader internally and externally.

    •            Shape and close strategic Databricks-led opportunities and create a sustainable and growing pipeline of transformation programmes that contribute significantly to AI & Data practice growth.

    •            Establish a leading Databricks capability recognised for technical excellence and innovation.

    •            Translate business challenges into practical, scalable Databricks-powered solutions.

    •            Increase joint pipeline, co-sell activity, and strategic engagement with Databricks.

    Skills & Experience

    Essential

    •            Extensive experience in consulting, technology advisory, or data transformation roles

    •            Advanced level certifications in Databricks Partner Champion certifications

    •            Deep expertise across the Databricks ecosystem - Databricks Intelligence Platform, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, Delta Live Tables / Lakeflow-style pipelines, MLflow, Feature Store, Model Serving and Mosaic AI capabilities, Genie etc

    •            Proven track record of shaping and delivering large-scale data and technology transformation programmes.

    •            Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, consultants, and delivery professionals.

    •            Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

    •            Commercial mindset with experience supporting sales, pipeline development, and revenue growth.

    •            Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.

    Desirable

    •            Experience working directly with Databricks account teams and alliance organisations.

    •            Experience in industry-led digital transformation programmes.

    •            Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, and enterprise adoption frameworks

    •            Commercially astute and growth oriented mindset.

If you are passionate about building teams, shaping transformative client solutions, and creating market-leading AI capabilities powered by Databricks, we would love to hear from you.
