How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

20-25 Hours Per Week | Fully Remote

A dynamic, fast-growing, investor-backed fashion business is seeking a fully remote Part-Time Financial Controller to support its next phase of growth.

Supplying leading retailers and partners across multiple international markets, the business has built a strong reputation for design, product quality and customer service. With ambitious growth plans and increasing international complexity, the company is looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Financial Controller to bring greater financial rigour, reporting capability and strategic insight to the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in entrepreneurial, high-growth environments and is comfortable combining strong financial control with commercial business partnering. The successful candidate will help build scalable financial processes while providing valuable insight to support decision-making and future growth.

Working 20-25 hours per week and reporting directly to the CEO, the Financial Controller will take ownership of the finance function across the UK and European operations. They will work closely with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders, ensuring robust financial reporting, strong controls and effective management of working capital, inventory and cash flow.

The role is fully remote, offering flexibility while remaining highly visible within the organisation's leadership team.

    Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day accounting operations across multiple European entities.
Produce accurate monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts and board reporting.
Develop and strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks.
Partner closely with the CEO on budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
Monitor and optimise working capital, inventory levels and cash conversion.
Analyse product, customer and channel profitability to support commercial decision-making.
Act as the primary finance contact for private equity investors, supporting reporting and value creation initiatives.
Oversee statutory compliance across multiple European jurisdictions, working with external advisors where required.
Drive improvements in systems, reporting automation and financial discipline.
Support business growth initiatives, including new market launches and entity integrations.

    About You

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Previous experience within fashion, apparel, retail, consumer products, wholesale or inventory-led businesses.
Strong understanding of stock, inventory management, gross margin and working capital dynamics.
Experience working within a high-growth, entrepreneurial or private equity-backed environment would be advantageous.
Hands-on and detail-oriented, whilst retaining a commercial perspective.
Comfortable working across multiple international entities and jurisdictions.
Capable of operating autonomously and building structure within a growing business.
Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and investors.
Strategic thinker who can translate financial information into commercial insight.

    The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth fashion business at a pivotal stage in its development. The role offers significant exposure to the CEO and investors, providing the successful candidate with the chance to make a genuine impact on the company's growth trajectory while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote, part-time position
