Quality Controller

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Quality Controller/QC to join in Gravesend. The successful candidate will carry out quality checks on fresh-cut fruit products and ensure food safety, hygiene and customer standards are consistently maintained.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in quality control or food production, with strong attention to detail and a good understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking individual to contribute to maintaining high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out regular quality checks on fresh-cut fruit products to ensure they meet company and customer standards.

* Inspect product appearance, quality, weight, packaging and labelling.

* Identify and report any damaged, incorrect or out-of-specification products.

* Complete quality checks and production records accurately and on time.

* Work closely with the production team to resolve quality issues quickly.

* Ensure food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.

* Monitor production areas and help maintain consistent quality standards.

* Support the team in maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Candidate Requirements

* Previous QC or quality experience preferred.

* Experience in food production or manufacturing.

* Good attention to detail.

* Food hygiene and safety certified.

* Able to check product quality and standards.

* Good communication and organisational skills.

* Reliable and hardworking.

* Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
