We're seeking a passionate and creative GCSE Drama Teacher to join a secondary school where the Performing Arts are a valued and celebrated part of school life.
This is a full-time role for a teacher who can inspire students through performance, develop their understanding of theatre, and support them as they work towards their GCSE qualifications.
Whether you're directing rehearsals, teaching performance techniques, or preparing students for GCSE assessments, you'll be helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and communication skills they'll carry well beyond school.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4
Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Prepare students for GCSE performances and assessments
Monitor progress and provide effective feedback
Support school productions and enrichment activities
Work collaboratively within the wider Performing Arts department
We're Looking For
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching GCSE Drama
Strong organisational and classroom management skills
A passion for theatre and creative learning
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
