How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Opportunities are available across KS1 and KS2, depending on experience and school requirements.

    The Role

    Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and purposeful lessons across the Primary National Curriculum.
    Establish a positive classroom environment where pupils feel confident, valued, and motivated to learn.
    Adapt lessons and teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual learners.
    Support pupils' academic progress alongside their social and emotional development.
    Use assessment and pupil data to identify next steps and support continued progress.
    Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence, resilience, and confidence.
    Provide appropriate support and challenge for pupils across a range of abilities, including those with SEND.
    Build strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
    Contribute to school events, enrichment activities, trips, and the wider school community.
    Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive staff team.

    About You

    Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
    Have experience teaching within a UK primary school environment, either through employment or successful teaching placements.
    Have a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
    Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
    Have strong classroom management and organisational skills.
    Be able to establish positive relationships with pupils and create a supportive learning environment.
    Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    Be committed to inclusion and supporting every child to reach their potential.
    Have a reflective approach to teaching and a willingness to engage in professional development.
    Share a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be considered for roles where appropriate support and mentoring can be provided.
