School Cleaner - Colne

Hours: 3:30pm until 5:45pm - Monday - Friday
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming school in Colne for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the school.

Duties will include:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting
Cleaning washrooms and replenishing supplies
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous cleaning experience (school experience is desirable but not essential)
Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
Have a good understanding of health and safety practices
Hold a COSHH qualification or be willing to complete COSHH training before starting the role
Be committed to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff
