Transparency Education is looking for an ambitious Early Career Teacher seeking the opportunity to develop within a supportive primary school environment in Lewisham.
We are interested in ECTs who bring enthusiasm, strong training experience and a genuine commitment to helping children succeed.
The opportunity
You will take responsibility for a primary class while receiving the opportunity to develop your teaching practice within a collaborative school environment.
Key duties include:
• Planning and delivering well-structured lessons.
• Creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Assessing pupils and responding to gaps in understanding.
• Establishing effective classroom routines.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues.
• Supporting pupils with different starting points and additional needs.
• Communicating with families regarding pupil progress.
• Reflecting on your practice and responding positively to feedback.
What you will need
• UK QTS or confirmation that QTS will be achieved before starting.
• Eligibility for ECT induction.
• Recent teaching practice within a UK school.
• Secure knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive and professional attitude.
• A successful placement year, strong references and clear enthusiasm for primary teaching will all be valued.
