About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Manager to join a well-established and growing construction and building services organisation. This role will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The successful candidate will play a key role in managing site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee multiple electrical projects across various sectors.
Lead and support electrical supervisors, site managers, electricians, and subcontractors.
Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme requirements, budgets, and quality expectations.
Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
Review specifications, drawings, and technical submissions.
Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations, health & safety legislation, and company standards.
Attend client meetings, site inspections, and progress reviews.
Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and resources to maximise efficiency.
Resolve technical and operational issues throughout project delivery.
Support estimating and pre-construction teams where required.
Carry out performance reviews and provide mentoring and development for team members.
Requirements
Proven experience in an Electrical Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, or Senior Electrical Supervisor position.
Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Excellent understanding of electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.
Experience managing multiple projects and site-based teams.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
City & Guilds Electrical Qualifications.
SMSTS or SSSTS.
ECS Card.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
First Aid qualification.
