We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a well-established commercial vehicle business in Warrington.

Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair of HGVs and commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on HGVs
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
Carry out inspections and identify defects
Repair and replace vehicle components where required
Work on braking, suspension, steering and other vehicle systems
Complete maintenance and repair records accurately
Ensure vehicles meet required safety and roadworthiness standards
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
Follow all health and safety procedures
Work effectively as part of a professional workshop team What We're Looking For
Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
Experience working with commercial vehicles or HGVs
Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and servicing
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
