Fabricator Welder wanted for a fantastic Monday to Friday opportunity
Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder or MIG Welder looking for a new opportunity with excellent Monday to Friday hours?
We are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join an established manufacturing business in Kingswinford. This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling and welding steel components to a high standard.
The role would suit an experienced welder/fabricator who enjoys working in a busy engineering environment and is confident working from drawings and specifications.
The role
As a Fabricator Welder, your duties will include:
MIG welding and general fabrication
Fabricating and assembling steel components
Working from engineering drawings and specifications
Cutting, grinding, drilling and preparing materials
Measuring and marking out accurately
Welding a range of steel thicknesses
Carrying out quality checks on finished products
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to specification
Following health and safety procedures at all times

Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in a fabrication and welding environment
Strong MIG welding experience
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experience working with mild steel
Good measuring and marking-out skills
Strong attention to detail
A good understanding of fabrication processes
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience working with pressure vessels, tanks or similar fabricated products would be highly beneficial, but is not essential.

£14.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience
Monday to Friday
7:00am - 3:00pm
No weekends
No rotating shifts
