We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lambeth. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, therapists, social workers, or youth workers looking to build valuable school-based experience.
The Role As a Graduate Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to help them engage with learning, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, Autism, and additional learning needs.
Providing 1:1 and small group interventions.
Building positive relationships with pupils to support their emotional wellbeing.
Assisting children who may face social, emotional, behavioural, or academic barriers.
Encouraging engagement and participation within the classroom.
Supporting teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
Helping pupils develop social skills, resilience, and independence.The Ideal Candidate We are looking for graduates who are:
✅ Passionate about supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
✅ Interested in careers in Teaching, Educational Psychology, Mental Health, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Youth Work.
✅ Patient, resilient, and able to build strong relationships with young people.
✅ Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
✅ Experienced working with children or young people through schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or voluntary work (desirable but not essential).
