How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Owning the site’s food safety, quality and legality systems.
Leading HACCP, VACCP and TACCP activities.

Taking the lead during customer audits, certification audits and regulatory inspections.
Working closely with Operations and the wider Site Management Team to ensure technical compliance across projects and change.
Developing Technical KPIs and using data to identify and deliver improvements.
Managing supplier and traded goods approval and performance.
Overseeing product specifications and technical documentation.
Championing and embedding a strong food safety culture throughout the site.
Identifying new and innovative ways to improve technical and operational performance.
    What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced food manufacturing Technical professional with the confidence and credibility to lead from the front.

    Ideally, you’ll bring:

Proven experience in a Technical Management role within food manufacturing.
A strong track record of leading and developing technical teams.
Extensive experience of audit leadership, including customer, certification and regulatory audits.
Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, food safety, quality systems and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence decision-making at site level.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for continuous improvement.
A relevant Food Science or related qualification, together with experience of export/multi-market compliance or continuous improvement methodologies, would be advantageous
