How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Client Relations Executive

    Northampton – Office based

Salary: £26,000–£28,000 DOE, plus a performance-related annual bonus.

    Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 17:30pm

An expanding financial services organisation is looking to recruit a confident and customer-focused Client Relations Executive to join its growing team.

This position is centred on delivering an excellent customer experience by acting as the first point of contact for new enquiries. You'll engage with customers by telephone and online chat, understand their requirements and ensure they are directed to the most appropriate team member.

Alongside customer engagement, you'll support a range of operational and compliance activities, including quality monitoring, customer feedback initiatives, maintaining accurate records and assisting with business processes. The role offers excellent variety and provides opportunities for long-term career development within the organisation.

For candidates who wish to progress, there is the opportunity to develop into a specialist regulated finance support role, with comprehensive training and ongoing compliance guidance provided.

    Key Responsibilities:

Respond to inbound telephone calls and online enquiries, providing a professional first impression and directing customers to the appropriate department.
Monitor sales calls to assess service quality and provide constructive feedback to help improve performance.
Assist with resolving customer concerns and support the handling of complaints where required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within the CRM system.
Encourage customers to leave online reviews and feedback to help strengthen the organisation's reputation.
Support the compliance and operations team with routine administrative and regulatory tasks following appropriate training.
Ensure internal procedures and customer service standards are consistently followed.
Assist managers with additional administrative and operational projects as required.
Carry out any other duties appropriate to the level and responsibilities of the role.

    The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in customer service, sales support, account management, administration or another client-facing role.
A degree is highly desirable, although candidates educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent) with relevant experience will also be considered.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with customers.
A friendly, engaging and confident telephone manner.
The ability to assess customer enquiries quickly and route them appropriately.
Strong multitasking skills, including the ability to type accurately while speaking with customers.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience using CRM systems or online customer messaging platforms would be beneficial.
Customer-focused with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding service.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Able to remain calm and professional when working in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to take ownership of their work.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Commercially aware and eager to contribute to business success.
Equally effective working independently or as part of a collaborative team.

    Career Development

This role offers genuine opportunities for progression. As your knowledge and experience develop, you may have the opportunity to support regulated finance activities, including assisting customers with finance enquiries, preparing straightforward applications, coordinating documentation and supporting transactions through to completion. Full training and ongoing compliance support will be provided to those wishing to pursue this career pathway.

Please note: Employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment screening, which may include background, credit and criminal record checks where appropriate for the position
