This permanent opportunity will involve leading a team of 25-30 production staff / team leaders, within a fast-paced, technically demanding manufacturing environment.

Production Supervisor - The Role
Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will supervise and develop production employees while managing safety, quality, cost, throughput and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Achieving daily production KPIs
* Coaching employees to improve quality and performance
* Leading health and safety investigations, risk assessments and audits
* Identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing improvement projects
* Driving continuous improvement through lean manufacturing and 6S
* Applying the Theory of Constraints to improve throughput
* Developing team leaders and improving employee engagement
* Ensuring compliance with company safety, quality and operational procedures
* Working with other departments to improve performance
About You
To be considered for this Production Supervisor role, you should have:
* Previous supervisory experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Strong people-management and team-development skills
* Experience delivering continuous-improvement or cost-reduction projects
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 6S and production KPIs
* Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* A relevant qualification and / or equivalent experience
Working Hours
* Monday–Tuesday: 07:30–16:30
* Wednesday–Thursday: 07:30–16:15
* Friday: 07:30–12:00
