How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Quality Engineer
    Rugby, Warwickshire

    We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Technical Ceramics business in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in driving quality performance and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Investigate customer complaints, process failures and internal non-conformances

    * Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions

    * Analyse quality data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement

    * Support quality procedures, inspection standards and control plans

    * Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality

    * Support internal and external audits and quality management system compliance

    * Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on quality-related matters

    * Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the site

    About You

    * Experience in a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar technical quality role within manufacturing

    * Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit requirements

    * Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions and problem-solving techniques

    * Knowledge of SPC, inspection methods and manufacturing process controls

    * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and quality data

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    * Proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
