Our client is a well-established and reputable social housing contractor for all the maintenance, known for delivering high-quality workmanship across both residential projects. With a strong pipeline of work secured for the year ahead, they are looking to appoint an experienced Roofer to join their growing team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Roofer, you will be responsible for carrying out roofing installation, repair and maintenance works across a variety of project types, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Install, repair and maintain pitched and flat roofing systems, including tiling, slating, felt and single-ply membrane systems.
Carry out lead work, flashings, guttering and associated weatherproofing details.
Diagnose and repair roof leaks, storm damage and general wear and tear.
Work safely at height, following all relevant health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications where required.
Liaise professionally with site supervisors, other trades, and clients where necessary.
Ensure all work areas are left clean, safe and tidy on completion.
Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets and any required documentation. WHAT OUR CLIENT LOOKING FOR
Proven experience as a Roofer, ideally across both residential projects.
Strong knowledge of pitched and/or flat roofing systems and associated materials.
A relevant trade qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Roofing) is desirable, though strong practical experience will be considered.
Comfortable and confident working at height in line with safety regulations.
Full UK driving licence, ideally with your own transport.
A reliable, hard-working attitude with good attention to detail. INDS
