Are you an experienced Electrician with strong fault-finding, testing and inspection skills and a background in property maintenance?

A well-established property maintenance organisation is looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to work across the Fareham area. You will complete a varied mix of domestic and commercial electrical repairs, testing, installations and planned maintenance.

This Electrician role would suit someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, enjoys working independently and provides a professional service when working in occupied properties and public buildings.

Job Responsibilities

Carry out electrical testing, inspections and certification.
Diagnose faults and complete reactive electrical repairs.
Undertake domestic rewires and general electrical installations.
Complete electrical works associated with kitchens and bathrooms.
Install and maintain domestic electrical heating systems.
Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and make situations safe.
Maintain accurate job records, including photographic evidence where required.
Follow all Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
Skills & Knowledge Required

Hold an NVQ Level in Electrical Installation.
Hold City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent – **essential**.
Hold current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Have completed AM2.
Demonstrate 2–5 years’ experience in social housing, property or building maintenance.
Possess strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Hold a full UK driving licence and live within approximately 20 miles of Fareham.
Be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check before employment.
Experience working within schools, universities, museums or similar public buildings would also be beneficial
