How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Temporary Project | Immediate Start | 251-Store Rollout

    The Opportunity
Talent Guardian is looking for an experienced Retail Space Planner / Technical Designer to support an exciting large-scale retail rollout project covering 251 stores across the UK.

This is a fast-paced project role requiring someone who is confident working with store floorplans, technical layouts and PowerPoint reporting. You'll review individual store plans, identify installation areas and create clear visual layouts showing exactly how each installation will work within the space.

You'll also use store imagery and Google Maps to assess access requirements and help build detailed, consistent reports for every location.
    What You'll Be Doing

Review and interpret detailed retail store floorplans.
Identify the correct installation space within each store.
Overlay block models onto plans to clearly show installation locations.
Produce layouts showing installation areas, crate arrangements and Chapter 8 barrier positions.
Review store access routes using Google Maps, Street View and available site imagery.
Produce detailed reports for each of the 251 stores.
Create professional presentations using existing PowerPoint templates and master layouts.
Ensure all reports are accurate, clear and consistent across the entire project.
Work efficiently through a high volume of individual store plans to meet project deadlines. What We're Looking For

Previous experience in retail space planning, CAD, technical design, retail design, shopfitting or installation planning.
Confident reading and interpreting floorplans and technical drawings.
Strong PowerPoint skills, including templates and master layouts.
Experience creating or positioning block models on floorplans.
    Comfortable working on a Mac.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately across a high-volume project.
Experience within retail, POS/POP, shopfitting or store installations would be highly beneficial.
Able to start at short notice. This is a great opportunity for someone with a technical eye who enjoys combining floorplans, retail environments and visual reporting and wants to get involved in a substantial nationwide store rollout
