How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    L&D Coordinator

Maidstone, Kent (100% Onsite, with occasional travel to other UK manufacturing sites)

Up to £45,000 per annum + 10% Performance Bonus

    About the Role

Are you an L&D professional with a strong background in generalist HR administration and employee relations?

We have partnered with a market-leading global food manufacturing business at their key site in Maidstone to recruit a dynamic L&D Co-ordinator (with HR experience). Reporting directly to the Site People Manager, this hybrid-scope role delivers the site's learning and development strategy while providing crucial generalist HR operational support.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Design, deliver, and evaluate site-wide training solutions aligned with overall business goals and operational objectives.

    * Work alongside the Finance team to identify and access funding for training, including apprenticeship levy interventions.

    * Manage key platforms including the talent management system and Alchemy eLearning to track metrics, KPIs, and site compliance.

    * Support line managers by taking notes during formal HR meetings (disciplinaries, investigations, absence reviews, performance management, and appeals).

    * Analyse ER and KPI metrics to highlight trends. Update HR systems and coordinate with payroll on joiners, leavers, and pay adjustments.

    * Support line managers with new starter documentation, equipment setup, induction delivery, and probation reviews.

    Your Skills & Experience

    * Previous experience in an L&D role combined with practical HR exposure, ideally gained within FMCG or food manufacturing.

    * Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and manufacturing site operations.

    * Familiarity with eLearning platforms (e.g., Alchemy), Talent platforms, and apprenticeship levy funding.

    * Excellent note-taking skills for formal ER procedures and solid interpersonal/influencing abilities.

    * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities under pressure.

    What’s on Offer

    * Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

    * Bonus: Up to 10% annual performance bonus.

    * Working Pattern: 100% Onsite in Maidstone (with occasional UK site travel).

    * Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package and clear progression pathways within a global FMCG leader
