How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Internal Sales Advisor

Boston, Lincolnshire | £27,000-£29,000 + Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Some sales jobs are all about chasing new business. This isn't one of them.

This is an opportunity to join a growing business where you'll build relationships with established customers, develop accounts, spot opportunities and play a visible role in helping drive future growth.

We're working with a successful international business that supplies construction products to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth and investment, they're expanding their sales team with the creation of a brand-new Internal Sales Advisor position.

This isn't simply about processing orders or answering enquiries. It's about understanding customers, identifying opportunities and helping businesses get the most from a trusted supplier. You'll become a key point of contact for an established customer base, building relationships that generate long-term value for both the customer and the business.

Working closely with Account Managers and customers across a variety of sectors, you'll help develop existing accounts, identify growth opportunities and support commercial initiatives designed to increase customer engagement and sales performance.

One day you might be reviewing customer purchasing trends and identifying opportunities to introduce new products. The next, you could be reconnecting with a dormant account, discussing upcoming projects and uncovering opportunities to win back valuable business. Every conversation is different, but the goal remains the same: building stronger relationships and helping customers succeed.

You'll also work closely with colleagues across sales, operations and customer support, ensuring customers receive a seamless experience from enquiry through to delivery.

Who will succeed in this role?

We're looking for someone who enjoys talking to customers and has the confidence to build relationships over the phone.

You may already be working in internal sales, account management, customer account support, sales administration or a business-to-business customer service environment. Most importantly, you'll have a commercial mindset, enjoy spotting opportunities and be motivated by helping customer accounts grow.

You'll be naturally curious, proactive and comfortable picking up the phone to start conversations, follow-up opportunities and build relationships. You'll enjoy understanding how customers operate, asking the right questions and finding ways to add value.

    What you'll bring

Previous experience in internal sales, B2B customer service, account management or a similar customer-facing commercial role

Confidence communicating with customers over the phone and via email
    Strong relationship-building skills
A proactive and commercially minded approach
    Good organisational and problem-solving skills
The ability to identify opportunities through customer conversations and data
Competent IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office

    What's on offer?

    £27,000-£29,000 salary
    Annual bonus scheme
25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
    Monday to Friday working hours
    Excellent employee benefits package
    Ongoing training and development
    Employee wellbeing initiatives
    Cycle to Work scheme
    Free on-site parking
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and well-established business where you'll be encouraged to develop your sales skills, build meaningful customer relationships and become an important part of a successful commercial team.
