The Opportunity
Due to ongoing demand, the school is looking for multiple Teaching Assistants to provide additional classroom support and cover staff absence, training and other school requirements.

Your Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support primary-aged pupils with a range of SEND needs
Provide support both in and outside of the classroom
Assist teachers with engaging, personalised and inclusive learning activities
Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Support children with communication, social, emotional and learning needs
Promote independence, confidence and personal development
Help create a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment
Support pupils with their individual learning and development goals
Work closely with teachers and the wider school teamEssential RequirementsTo be considered for these positions, you will need:
A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience working with children with additional needs is desirable
A patient, caring and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
The ability to provide a minimum of two years' employment and/or education references
At least one reference must comment on your experience and interaction when working with children or young people
