The Opportunity
As a Recruitment Resourcer, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional candidate journey from attraction through to placement. Working closely with our Industrial and Managed Service divisions, you'll be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and supporting temporary workers while ensuring full compliance throughout the recruitment process.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be instrumental in building talent pipelines, supporting clients with their staffing needs, and helping candidates find the right opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Create engaging and compelling job advertisements across job boards and social media platforms
* Respond promptly and professionally to candidate enquiries and applications
* Source and identify suitable candidates through various recruitment channels
* Contact candidates and arrange registrations and interviews
* Monitor and track candidate activity throughout the recruitment process
* Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates for temporary vacancies
* Build and maintain a strong pool of available temporary workers
* Coordinate candidate onboarding and induction schedules
* Issue assignment confirmations and related documentation
* Ensure all compliance, governance, and legislative requirements are met
* Maintain accurate candidate records and database information
* Work towards recruitment KPIs and workforce targets
* Produce reports for Account Managers and Senior Management
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business
* Support the operational success of the Resource Hub while upholding ACS values and standards
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about people.
You'll ideally have:
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A confident and persuasive telephone manner
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
* A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment
* Experience within recruitment or resourcing (preferred but not essential)
* Experience supporting multiple sectors or industries (advantageous)
* Additional language skills (beneficial)
