How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

New season. New challenge. New opportunity.

September is the perfect time for a fresh start, and we are looking for motivated, customer-focused Field Managers to join our teams at our Norwich and Bar Hill depots.

If you have installation experience, enjoy leading people and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, this is your opportunity to make a real impact with one of the UK's leading home improvement companies.

    About Us

At Anglian we are a leading home improvement company committed to providing high-quality Windows, Doors, Conservatories and Roof line products and exceptional customer service. Our success is built on innovation, dedication, and a customer-first approach. Join us to make a real impact in an exciting business.

    The Role

As a Field Manager, you will be at the heart of our daily operations. Working in the field, you will lead and organise our self-employed Installation teams, inspect completed works and help ensure every installation meets Anglian's quality standards.

You will play a key role in delivering a first-class customer experience, supporting installers to perform at their best while ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales. Every day brings a different challenge, making this a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field and making things happen.

    Key Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional customer experience, adhering to Anglian standards.
Monitor 6-7 self-employed installation teams to ensure timely and quality installations.
Provide support to installation teams to develop their skills and performance.
Handle customer installation queries or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure that installations are completed in line with H&S standards.
    What We're Looking For

Knowledge of installation processes and best practices.
Good on-site presence and interpersonal skills, with confidence speaking to customers.
Previous experience of managing self-employed trades plus a strong understanding of H&S practice in the workplace.
Previous experience in a similar role within the home improvement or construction industry.
Strong organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Valid driver's licence to travel as required within the region.
    Why Join Us?

    Competitive salary
    Pension
    Company Car
31 days holiday, including Bank Holidays and increasing to 33 days with service within 2 years.
An additional paid day for your birthday
Paid time off annually to volunteer
Comprehensive health and well-being benefits, including access to in-house occupational health and well-being resources, discounted gym memberships, employee assistance programme and mental health resources.
Heavily discounted employee purchase scheme on all Company products
Group perks and discounts on most major high street retailers, including food shopping, days out, cinema, theatre, dining and mobile phones
Salary sacrifice benefits, including pension, cycle to work, electric car purchase and additional annual leave, while potentially reducing your tax and NI contributions
Access to extensive financial well-being resources, including flexible pay and competitive savings and borrowing products
    Employee recognition schemes
