How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Talent & Organisational Development Lead

    This is an exciting opportunity to join Plymouth Community Homes at a pivotal point in our journey and help shape the future of our organisation.

    As we launch a new 10-year Strategic Business Plan and continue to focus on our People as a major element of our strategy, we're reshaping our People & Culture function to ensure we're ready to support the ambitions of our organisation, our colleagues and the communities we serve. As part of that transformation, we've created a new Talent & Organisational Development Lead role.

    What we are looking for:

    We're looking for an experienced organisational development leader who is energised by the opportunity to influence organisation-wide change. This is an opportunity to help shape how PCH develops its people, so we are looking for experience in strengthening leadership capability, planning for the future and builds an organisation that is ready to deliver its long-term ambitions.

    You will enjoy thinking strategically, shaping organisational direction and creating environments where people can thrive, this is a rare opportunity to build, influence and leave a lasting legacy, whilst leading a high performing team of experts in Talent Acquisition and Talent Development, so an experience in, or a demonstrable deep understanding of these areas in order lead across the Talent spectrum is also key for you to have.

    What you will be dong:

    Working alongside the HR Business Partnering Lead and Reward, People Data & Insight Lead, you will form part of a newly established People & Culture leadership team with the opportunity to influence the future direction of the function and make a lasting impact across PCH.

    With responsibility spanning Organisational Development, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition and EDI, you'll use insight, evidence and curiosity to understand organisational needs, identify future workforce and capability requirements, and turn strategy into meaningful action. You'll help ensure that our structures, culture, leadership and talent pipelines are equipped to support both our colleagues and our business goals for years to come.
