We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business based in Swindon. This is a hands-on mechanical engineering role where you will be involved in the design and development of complex machinery and equipment. You will need to be confident using CAD and working closely with the wider engineering and production teams.
Mechanical Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
* Mechanical design and development using CAD
* Producing 3D models, drawings and engineering documentation
* Supporting projects from initial concept through to manufacture
* Working on improvements to existing machinery and equipment
* Liaising with production and other engineering teams
* Getting involved in problem-solving and technical challenges
Mechanical Engineer Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum of 5 years' mechanical engineering experience
* Strong CAD experience
* Confident producing mechanical designs and engineering drawings
* Good understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
