Internals Site Manager – London
Locations: Mayfair & City of London
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Package
An excellent opportunity has arisen for Internals Site Managers to join a growing main contractor working on major, high-profile projects across Mayfair and the City of London.
The business is looking to strengthen its project teams with experienced Internals Site Managers who can take ownership of key internal packages and drive works through to a high-quality finish.
The Role As Internals Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the management and coordination of internal works, working closely with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.
Depending on experience, you will be based on either a prestigious commercial redevelopment in Mayfair or a major development in the City of London.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing internal packages from procurement and design coordination through to completion
Managing and coordinating specialist subcontractors
Driving programme and ensuring works remain on schedule
Monitoring quality and ensuring a high standard of finish
Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
Coordinating internal works with MEP, design and other construction packages
Identifying and resolving technical and site issues
Managing QA, inspections, snagging and close-out
Chairing and attending subcontractor and progress meetings
Working closely with commercial, design and project teams
Maintaining high Health & Safety standards
Driving packages through to successful completion and handover About You The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience as an Internals Package Manager, Site Manager or Package Manager
Strong experience managing internal and fit-out packages
Main contractor experience would be highly advantageous
Experience on high-spec commercial, refurbishment or major construction projects
Strong subcontractor management skills
A good technical understanding of internal packages and sequencing
The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Strong knowledge of QA and finishing standards
Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
A proactive and hands-on approach to project delivery
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team Experience working on complex Central London projects with demanding programmes and high-quality finishes would be particularly beneficial.
