Key Responsibilities
* Carry out plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance across occupied and void social housing properties.
* Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults, including leaks, blockages, heating system issues, and sanitary ware repairs.
* Undertake basic to intermediate carpentry tasks such as:
* Boxing‑in pipework
* Fitting bath panels
* Installing kitchen units or worktops
* Door adjustments and minor joinery repairs
* Complete multi‑trade tasks where required, including basic tiling, patch plastering, and general property maintenance.
* Ensure all work meets relevant safety, compliance, and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed using job management systems.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors.
* Work independently or as part of a team to meet service level targets.
* Participate in an out‑of‑hours rota (if applicable).
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing.
* Proven experience working in domestic or social housing environments.
* Competent carpentry skills with the ability to complete small joinery tasks to a high standard.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations
