Job Title: Operations Assistant
Hours: Full Time, Monday–Thursday, 8:30 – 17:15, Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm (On-site)
Salary: Circa £31k, negotiable depending on experience.
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our small but busy Operations team.
The role supports the operations function of the business in areas including stock management, forecasting, stock analysis, and logistics to maintain optimal product availability and supply chain efficiency.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, and warehousing to ensure product information, pricing, and stock levels are managed efficiently.
Working within a small team you will gain exposure to a wide range of different tasks, and you must be able assist other team members as and when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Work alongside our Product Co-ordinator to support the process of introducing new ranges
* Be responsible for ensuring stock arrives from suppliers on time
* Liaise with suppliers to confirm stock availability and production timeframes
* Maintain product information within the company ERP system to ensure accuracy and consistency across all systems.
* Updating product pricing, costings, and supplier details
* Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory data
* Producing stock level and sales reports
* Supporting purchasing decisions to maintain optimal stock levels
* Identifying fast-moving or low-stock items
* Arrange collections with suppliers and freight transport companies
* Assist with tracking all product samples requests
* Keeping the ERP system updated with all expected receipt dates and order updates
Skills and Experience
* Experience working with ERP systems and product databases
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, spreadsheets)
* Experience managing product information or ecommerce listings
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities

* Proactive in identifying and solving problems
* Able to collaborate effectively with multiple teams, including Senior Management up to Director level.
* Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
* A great communicator with experience of liaising with suppliers and logistics companies
* Willing to jump in and assist with other tasks when necessary
