Responsibilities of the Import Coordinator include:
· Submitting customs entries efficiently and accurately.
· Review, and maintain import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, phytosanitary and POAO certificates, whilst ensuring all documents are accurate and fully compliant with HMRC.
· Manage both personal and shared mailbox, tracking and responding to queries in a timely manner.
· Communicate clearly with multiple Government authorities.
· Track shipments and update customers and hauliers on progress.
· Be a point of contact for customer queries and status updates.
· Keeping various trackers accurate and up to date.
· Liaise with hauliers, customs agents, suppliers, and internal team to resolve delays or compliance issues.
Requirements
* Must be well organised, proactive and able to prioritise their workload.
* Must be able to co-ordinate multiple tasks and shipments throughout the day, within a fast-paced environment.
* Previous customs experience is an advantage, but not necessary.
The shift would be Sunday – Thursday.
Sunday 8am – 5pm
Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm
Or Tuesday – Saturday
Tuesday – Friday – 9am – 6pm
Saturday – 8am – 5pm
Salary TBD + Quarterly bonus + Quarterly profit share + Medical insurance
