We're supporting a successful national organisation in their search for an HR Advisor to join their friendly and supportive team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a busy and rewarding role where you'll be involved in every aspect of the employee journey, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, engagement, and payroll support.
Working closely with managers and employees across the business, you'll provide practical HR guidance while helping to create a positive, compliant, and people-focused workplace culture.
This role requires an immediate start and commitment to the full 6-month contract.

The Role
As HR Advisor, you'll support managers and employees across a wide range of HR activities, including:
Providing expert HR advice on policies, procedures, attendance, performance, conduct and employee relations matters
Supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence management, probation, wellbeing and capability cases
Managing recruitment campaigns, coordinating interviews and overseeing onboarding activities
Preparing contracts, offer letters, HR documentation and employee communications
Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring GDPR compliance
Supporting monthly payroll administration, including starters, leavers and employee changes
Monitoring training and compliance records
Assisting with employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
Producing HR reports and supporting audits
Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and ways of working
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role
Strong understanding of UK employment law and employee relations processes
Experience providing practical and commercially focused HR advice to managers
Excellent organisation and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
A professional, proactive and confidential approach
CIPD Level 3 or above (desirable, but not essential)
