About the Role

Our Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Worker to join their production team in Broadstairs. This is an excellent opportunity for a fabrication professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys producing bespoke, high-quality metalwork to exact specifications.

Working within a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for creating precision metal components using a variety of fabrication techniques and workshop equipment. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a practical approach, and the ability to consistently deliver high standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce precision-cut metal components using manual and machine-assisted processes.

* Cut, shape, drill, and finish sheet materials to detailed specifications.

* Operate folding and forming equipment to create accurate bends and structural forms.

* Manufacture bespoke brackets, frames, letters, and other custom metal components.

* Assemble, polish, and prepare fabricated products to a high-quality finish.

* Safely operate workshop machinery including cutting tools, grinders, welders, and forming equipment.

* Carry out quality checks to ensure measurements, tolerances, and finishes meet requirements.

* Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to manufacture accurate products.

* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and customer expectations.

About You

* Previous experience in metal fabrication or a similar hands-on manufacturing role.

* Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques.

* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Confident using fabrication machinery, hand tools, and workshop equipment.

* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Reliable, professional, and committed to producing high-quality work.
