A privately owned building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior - Associate Electrical Engineer to play a key role within its growing electrical team.
The business has built a strong reputation for combining building services engineering, sustainability and low-carbon design, working collaboratively with architects, developers, contractors and clients to deliver high-quality projects.

The Opportunity
This is a role for an experienced Electrical Engineer who wants to remain technically involved while taking greater ownership of projects, clients and people.
You'll lead electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary design teams. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to work-winning, mentor engineers and help shape the continued development of the electrical team.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead electrical design and delivery from concept through to completion
Produce and review technical designs, specifications, reports and drawings
Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines
Lead design team and client meetings
Manage project programmes, budgets and technical deliverables
Build and develop strong client relationships
Support business development and work-winning activities
Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers
Contribute to technical standards and quality assuranceAbout You
You'll ideally have:
Significant experience in electrical building services engineering
Strong technical capability across electrical design
Experience leading projects and multidisciplinary teams
Excellent client-facing, communication and presentation skills
Experience managing project budgets and deliverables
A strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
Chartered Engineer status, or be working towards ChartershipMost importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys taking ownership, developing relationships and helping those around you progress.
