Production Operative

The right person will be flexible and willing to learn multiple duties that consist of assembly, packing, and operating a saw.

JOB FUNCTIONS

* Using engineering drawings to assemble straight line wipers.

* Will be using a multitude of hand tools in relation to the assembly.

* To follow the company's predefined quality procedures, to ensure a robust product is produced to meet the customer’s expectations every time.

* To follow the companies work to list, must be willing and able to work to tight deadlines with changing priorities

* Operating various types of production machinery: upcut extrusion saw, pillar drills and hydraulic presses.

* Knowledge of reading engineering drawings

* Good timekeeping and communication skills

* The ability to work alone and as part of a team

* Maintaining a clean and effective work area.

* Basic machine maintenance, changing saw blades, changing over of presses.
