The Role
You'll be working across a vehicle compound — moving stock in and out, transferring vehicles between sites, and getting cars to the right department at the right time. The core of it is straightforward. The standard is not negotiable.
A damaged vehicle doesn't get delivered. That delay costs time and money, and the people who last in this role understand that from day one. You'll be on your feet throughout the shift, covering ground, staying switched on, and treating every vehicle as if it belongs to someone who cares about it. Because it does.
What You'll Be Doing
* Moving vehicles in and out of stock and maintaining accurate compound organisation
* Transferring vehicles between compound locations as directed
* Delivering vehicles to the correct internal departments in a timely manner
* Conducting basic checks before and after every vehicle movement, noting existing damage accurately
* Keeping compound operations running smoothly throughout a busy operational day
What We Need From You
* Valid UK Category B driving licence — essential
* Comfortable on your feet for the full duration of a shift — this role involves significant walking
* Careful and methodical with vehicles — damage prevention is a core part of the job
* Punctual and reliable — compound operations depend on people showing up and following through
* Previous compound or automotive experience — an advantage, not essential
What You Get
* £12.71–£14.36 per hour dependent on experience
* Weekly pay every Friday
* Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 — no weekends, no bank holidays
* 40 consistent hours per week
* Ongoing temporary position — regular work, reliable schedule
