Field Service Engineer

Job Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Wiltshire 
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Basic + Overtime + Company Van + Company Benefits Package 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join an established service and repair company based in Wiltshire.

This role would ideally suit someone at the early stages of their engineering career, particularly a candidate who has recently completed an engineering apprenticeship and is looking to build on their practical experience. Full product and manufacturer training will be provided, alongside genuine opportunities for long-term career progression, and continued skill development. 

Responsibilities of the Role:

Carry out all service, repair and maintenance work on a range of lorry loader cranes and associated machinery 
Carry out tests and inspections on all products
Carry out fault finding and diagnostic testing on all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Manage own workload and work independently, providing high levels of customer service at all times
Working within the workshop, alongside attending breakdowns on customer sites. 
Requirements of Role:

Hold an NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (desirable)
Experience working on lorry loader cranes, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, forklifts, or similar construction machinery would be preferred 
Full UK driving license
Positive attitude towards wanting to learn and develop
