Remuneration: £75,000 - £85,000

The role of the Project Manager – Civil Engineering, Highways & Infrastructure works will involve:
Responsible for a wide range of civil engineering, infrastructure, drainage and highway contracts across Gloucestershire and surrounding regions.
- Site based role that will involve monitoring project progress, health & safety compliance and contractor performance.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project information to identify risks and requirements
- Preparing scopes, specifications and methodologies while supporting tenders and pre-construction
- Coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Managing project costs, variations, forecasts and commercial performance
- Monitoring programmes, identifying risks and delays, and implementing corrective actions
- Ensuring projects meet health & safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Overseeing projects with values of up to £20m although typically £2.5 - £7 million
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager with extensive Civil Engineering, Highways & Infrastructure experience.
- Potential applicants MUST have Project Management experience within the civils, infrastructure, drainage and highways field.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills)
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- Must be a great team player with high levels of organisation. You will have extensive knowledge of: Groundworks, Concrete, Structures, Roads, Surfacing, Asphalt, SUDs, Gullies, Kerbing, Drainage, Utilities, Earthworks, Excavation, Public Sector, Local Authorities, Councils, Commercial, Construction, Subcontractors, Civil Contractors, Highway Maintenance, Frameworks, Engineering.
