Senior FPGA Engineer - HPC Hardware Design

Newton Colmore is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to join a small hardware engineering team building systems that operate at the limits of speed and throughput.

In this role you will be designing and optimising FPGA-based systems for low-latency, high-throughput data processing, working on custom hardware acceleration, high-speed data pipelines, and performance-critical infrastructure where every nanosecond counts.

This is a multidisciplinary team that is tight-knit and free of hierarchy, where innovation and inventive thought is at the heart of everything they do. The role will involve hands-on simple circuitry design as well as tackling highly complex overarching technical challenges.

To be successful in this role we are looking for engineers with strong FPGA design experience, ideally in low-latency, high-throughput or real-time environments. The client is considering candidates from HPC, defence, telecoms, or trading, and is looking for a candidate that has a deep understanding of digital design, timing closure and hardware/software co-design.
