The Role

As Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will lead the preconstruction process from initial enquiry through to contract award, ensuring bids are commercially robust, technically sound, and aligned with client expectations.

Working closely with clients, consultants, designers, commercial teams and operational stakeholders, you will drive successful project outcomes and help secure some of London's most prestigious fit out projects.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple preconstruction opportunities simultaneously.
Manage the entire bid and tender process from enquiry through to contract award.
Develop winning tender strategies and coordinate bid submissions.
Oversee design development throughout the preconstruction phase.
Produce and review cost plans, budgets and procurement strategies.
Manage client presentations, workshops and stakeholder engagement.
Coordinate internal teams including design, estimating, commercial and operations.
Identify value engineering opportunities and innovative project solutions.
Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Support and mentor junior members of the preconstruction team.
Contribute towards business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Proven experience within a Preconstruction Manager or Senior Preconstruction Manager position.
Background working on commercial office fit out and refurbishment projects.
Strong understanding of design management, estimating and commercial functions.
Experience leading negotiated and competitive tender opportunities.
Excellent client-facing, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
Ambitious, driven and looking to progress within a growing business.
