How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Your New Role

    As an In-House Paralegal, you will provide legal and commercial support across a wide range of business activities, with a particular focus on commercial contracts and contract life cycle management.Key responsibilities will include:

    Reviewing, negotiating, and managing a variety of commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), software licence agreements, service agreements, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
    Assisting with the drafting and amendment of variation agreements, change control documents, and contractual schedules.
    Providing practical and commercially focused guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual risks and obligations.
    Supporting technology-related legal matters, including intellectual property and data protection issues.
    Maintaining and enhancing contract templates, legal playbooks, and internal legal processes.
    Supporting contract execution processes and liaising with senior stakeholders when required.
    Managing contract records and supporting contract lifecycle management activities.
    Assisting with legal and regulatory compliance initiatives, including policy development and implementation.
    Working with external legal advisers where necessary.
    Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and communicating relevant updates to the wider business.
    Supporting the management of intellectual property assets, including trademarks.This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and an excellent opportunity to develop a broad commercial legal skillset within an in-house environment.

    What You'll Need to Succeed

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    Significant experience working as a Paralegal with a strong understanding of commercial contracts.
    Proven experience independently reviewing, executing, and managing a range of commercial agreements.
    Strong knowledge of contract structures, including framework agreements and MSAs.
    The ability to identify commercial and legal risks and escalate issues appropriately.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to build effective relationships across business functions.
    Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    Exceptional attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
    Experience supporting contract lifecycle management processes and maintaining accurate contract records.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, legal research, and electronic signature platforms.The following experience would be advantageous:

    Previous in-house legal experience within a technology business.
    Experience advising technology-focused clients in private practice.
    Exposure to US legal frameworks or international commercial contracts.
