How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Are you an experienced Senior Architect or Associate ready to step up and take on greater leadership within a healthcare-focused practice? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic London-based architectural practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects within the Healthcare sector.

We are seeking a talented and driven ARB-registered Associate Architect with a proven track record of leading projects through to completion and mentoring others along the way. The opportunity exists to join a supportive studio environment where creativity, collaboration and professional growth are at the heart of everything they do.

    The Role

As an Associate Architect, you will:

Take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design integrity and technical excellence

Provide leadership and support to junior members of the team, helping to develop their skills and confidence

Work confidently in Revit to deliver high-quality drawings and models

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors to achieve outstanding results

Play an active role in shaping a positive and empowering studio culture where ideas are shared and talent is nurtured

    About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

    ARB registration

Significant post-qualification experience, with a track record of leading projects through all RIBA stages to completion

Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff

Strong Revit skills and technical knowledge - Essential

    Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Extensive Healthcare sector experience is highly desirable and will be prioritised – however it is not essential

    Why Join?

Knowing this practice well, what stands out most is the genuine investment they make in their people. It's a studio that puts real weight behind supporting staff — giving them the backing, resources and opportunities to grow their careers, not just talking about it. It's the kind of place where people are given the confidence to develop and genuinely progress.

    You'll also benefit from:

Competitive salary up to £60,000 depending on experience

Hybrid & flexible working, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week

Genuine career development prospects within a growing, award-winning team

Paid RIBA & ARB annual membership fees

Contribution towards courses to support your ongoing development

Generous annual leave (plus bank holidays), with a loyalty bonus scheme

    Enhanced Maternity & Paternity packages

Life assurance scheme and Ride-to-Work scheme

    Regular social activities

Central London location with excellent transport links

    How to Apply

If you're a driven Architect ready to take the next step into an Associate-level role and grow within a genuinely supportive practice, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today with your CV and portfolio to take the next step in your architectural career.
