The successful candidate must be confident installing ductwork independently, reading drawings and completing work safely and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
Install galvanised ductwork and associated fittings.
Fit rectangular, circular and spiral ductwork.
Install ventilation systems in line with drawings and specifications.
Measure, position and secure ductwork correctly.
Fit brackets, supports, grilles, diffusers and dampers.
Work closely with mates, supervisors and other trades.
Identify and report installation issues.
Follow site health and safety procedures.
Keep working areas clean, tidy and safe.
Requirements
Previous commercial duct-fitting experience.
Confident working with galvanised ductwork.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Valid CSCS or relevant trade card.
Own tools and PPE.
Good knowledge of health and safety.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Right to work in the UK.
