The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Outbound Sales Agent who enjoys winning new business, building relationships and closing deals?

We're looking for a motivated Outbound Sales Agent to join a growing commercial sales team in Peterlee, selling water services to business customers while identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional utility services.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a target-driven sales environment, wants to earn strong commission and is looking for genuine progression potential as a Sales Agent.

What You'll Be Doing

Generate and close your own new business opportunities
Make a high volume of outbound sales calls
Handle inbound and warm leads
Build relationships with business customers
Identify opportunities to cross-sell water, waste and other utility services
Generate quotations and convert them into sales
Manage your own sales pipeline
Handle objections confidently and close deals
Record customer and sales activity accurately on Salesforce
Work towards and exceed individual sales targetsWhat We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in sales, telesales or business development
Confident speaking to business owners and decision-makers
Comfortable making outbound calls and working to targets
Motivated by commission and achieving results
Strong at objection handling and closing sales
Confident building rapport quickly
Organised and able to manage their own pipeline
Resilient, competitive and commercially minded
Looking to build a successful career as an Outbound Sales AgentPrevious water, energy, utilities or sales experience is highly desirable, but transferable sales experience will also be considered.

Salary & Hours

£26,678-£29,987 basic salary
OTE £42,000+
37.5 hours per week
Monday-Friday | 9:00am-5:00pm
