Parts Advisor

Job Title: Parts Advisor 
Location: Wiltshire 
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Basic (Salary Negotiable DOE) + Company Benefits Package 

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor / Parts Controller to join an established service and repair company based in Wiltshire.

As Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day parts operation, ensuring engineers and customers receive the correct parts efficiently and within agreed timescales. This is a varied role, combining parts sales, stock control, purchasing, administration and customer service.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Identifying and sourcing parts for all related machinery. 
Managing the day-to-day parts operation and responding to parts enquiries.
Ordering parts and monitoring deliveries to ensure they arrive within required timescales.
Providing parts support to engineers, the workshop, customers and internal departments.
Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring stock levels are appropriately managed.
Preparing quotations and processing parts sales orders.
Dealing with customer and supplier queries professionally and promptly.
Maintaining accurate records of parts, orders, costs and supplier information.
Supporting regular stock checks and stocktaking activities.
Ensuring all parts-related administration is completed accurately.
Requirements of Role:

Have previous experience within a Parts Advisor, Parts Controller, Parts Coordinator or Parts Sales position.
Have experience working within the construction equipment, plant hire, agricultural, automotive, HGV / commercial vehicle, material handling, or a similar engineering environment.
Comfortable dealing with customers, suppliers and engineers.
