Quantity Surveyor

Optima Site Solutions is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Lewisham.

We are particularly interested in candidates with Quantity Surveying experience or strong experience within the social housing and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing costs, budgets and project finances.

* Preparing estimates, valuations and cost reports.

* Monitoring project expenditure and identifying cost risks.

* Working with contractors, clients and project teams.

* Supporting procurement and contract management.

* Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the required standards.

* Maintaining accurate commercial and project documentation.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or within social housing/construction.

* Good understanding of construction processes and commercial management.

* Strong organisational and communication skills.

* Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Relevant qualifications or industry experience would be advantageous.
