How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Manager of Regional Data Centre Development  
    East Coast, USA
    Up to $220,000 + plus bonus!  

    A once in a lifetime type of opportunity to be a founding member of a Data Centre's major expansion into the USA! 

    We're looking for a Senior Manager / Data Centre Development Manager to lead the delivery of a major US expansion programme for a Data Centre Operator & Developer. 

    This is a founding role for the US region - offering the opportunity to build market presence, establish delivery capability and take ownership of complex data centre development activity from the ground up.

    The role of a Senior Manager of Data Centre Development

    Lead end-to-end delivery of a US Data Centre development 
    Manage relationships with general contractors, EPC partners and other key delivery stakeholders
    Build and develop relationships with utilities, authorities and other regional stakeholders
    Support planning, permitting and entitlement activities across the US market
    Recruit and help establish the project delivery team as regional requirements develop
    Coordinate with wider portfolio teams to identify resource requirements and delivery priorities
    Provide hands-on leadership across technical, commercial and delivery activities
    The requirements to be a Senior Manager of Data Centre Development

    Experience delivering data centre, energy or large-scale infrastructure projects in the US
    Strong knowledge of the US data centre market and development environment
    Experience managing contractor, EPC, utility or infrastructure stakeholder relationships
    Working knowledge of US utility processes, ISO/RTO environments and state entitlement requirements
    Comfortable operating as the first senior representative for a business entering a new region
    Strong commercial and delivery capability with experience managing complex infrastructure programmes
    Existing relationships across relevant infrastructure supply chains are highly desirable 
    Nice to haves 

    Experience establishing a new regional function or market presence
    Experience working across multiple US states and differing entitlement or incentive environments
    Existing relationships with data centre operators, contractors, EPCs or utility providers
