How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Pump Engineer (Mobile / Field Service) 

    Brigg 

    Salary £36,000 to £42,000 DOE + Overtime (1.5x Mon-Sat, 2x Sunday) + Company Van + 22 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Private Medical + Life Assurance + Sick Pay + Income Protection + £25 Overnight Bonus 

    Monday to Friday 40 Hours per Week – 8am Start 

    Pump Engineer required for a market leading rental company of industrial equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with an impressive global reputation. 

    Candidates will need pumps maintenance experience. You will hold both electrical and mechanical experience. 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical servicing and fault finding on diesel, electrical, and air driven pumps. You will also carry out installs and de-installs of pumps, filtration equipment and tanks at customer sites. 

    This role will involve both working from the company’s branch in Brigg and site-based work at client sites. Occasional stay-away may be required, approximately twice a month and you will also be a part of a rotational call-out rota for one week in four, however, most issues can be resolved remotely. 

    The Pump Engineer Role:

    ·         Mechanical servicing of diesel, electrical and air driven pumps at the Bridgend branch and at customer sites

    ·         Delivery, installation and de-install of equipment

    ·         Repairs on rental equipment

    ·         Driving with a trailer where required to deliver equipment 

    The Pump Engineer Candidate: 

    ·         Maintenance experience on pumps

    ·         Mechanical and electrical experience
