SALARY: £33,000-£35,000 per annum.
WORKING HOURS:
Tuesday - Friday 07:00am-17:00pm
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

Textile machinery maintenance — carry out routine and reactive maintenance on winding, twisting and associated yarn‑processing machines.
*
Mechanical fault finding — diagnose mechanical issues quickly to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.
*
Machine setup & optimisation — set up winding and twisting machines for different yarn types, counts and twist levels, ensuring optimal performance.
*
Component repair & replacement — repair or replace belts, bearings, gears, tensioners and other mechanical components.
*
Preventative maintenance — complete scheduled servicing to improve reliability and reduce breakdowns.
*
Alignment & calibration — ensure machines are correctly aligned, tensioned and calibrated for consistent yarn quality.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXERIENCE:

Textile industry background — essential experience working with winding, twisting or similar yarn‑processing machinery.
*
Mechanical engineering competence — confident with tools, mechanical assemblies and machine adjustments.
*
Strong diagnostic skills — able to fault‑find quickly and effectively.
*
Machine setup capability — experience preparing machines for different yarn specifications.
